missing me?

ANYTIME
– Brian Mcknight –

I can’t remember why we fell apart
From something that was so meant to be, yeah
Forever was the promise in our hearts
Now, more and more I wonder where you are
[Chorus]
Do I ever cross your mind, anytime
Do you ever wake up reaching out for me
Do I ever cross your mind anytime
I miss you
Still have your picture in a frame
Hear your footsteps down the hall
I swear I hear your voice, driving me insane
How I wish that you would call
To say
[Chorus]
I miss you
I miss you
(No more) loneliness and heartache
(No more) crying myself to sleep
(Don’t want no more) wondering about tomorrow
Won’t you come back to me
Come back to me, oh
[Chorus]
[Chorus]
I miss you
I miss you
I miss you

we might as well be strangers

WE MIGHT AS WELL BE STRANGERS
– Keane –

I don’t know your face no more
Or feel your touch that I adore
I don’t know your face no more
It’s just a place I’m looking for
We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a different world
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well

I don’t know your thoughts these days
We’re strangers in an empty space
I don’t understand your heart
It’s easier to be apart

We might as well be strangers in another town
We might as well be living in a another time
We might as well
We might as well
We might as well be strangers
Be strangers
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know of you now
For all I know

for the discreet broken hearts

BEFORE SUNSET

i’m so miserable in my love life and my relationship
i always act like detached
but i’m dying inside
i’m dying because i’m so numb
i don’t feel pain or excitement
i’m not even bitter

love is a gift

THE VILLAGE

i love you like the day is long
i love you more than the sun and the moon together
and if you feel the same then we should not hide it any longer
it’s a gift love is
we should be thankful
we should bellow it out with all the breath in our lungs
thank you, thank you, thank you

a year of my life

MY FOUR SEASONS

It’s August but the leaves are still not falling
I waited under a maple tree to see who is coming
Beyond from where I sit is a clear horizon
I realized that I’m there sitting alone
My past memories just began to flash
I can’t do anything but to think back

The snow in the city was pouring heavily
I wasn’t used to go out and dance freely
Watching every drop makes me smile
But feeling it would maybe make me glad
I dreamt of sliding and gliding from a snow cap
Reaching the mountain foot will be the icing on top

After the white, pale season came the blooming one
Everything around is colorful and lovely
The trees are flourishing and growing taller
Leaves are returning and very promising
Along the walk way are the rows of flowers
I picked three and kept it forever

It’s time to turn the heat on
Sun rises as if it had never shone
My days are bright and glittering
While my nights are beautiful and blissful
The clear sky is taken over by two powerful heavenly bodies
I had the pleasure of experiencing both phases

The last fall I had was very memorable
I saw a leaf fall from the tree that is unshed able
Never thought that I was the lone witness
To a remarkable moment of excitement
But after one, two, or three leaves have fallen
No more leaves shedding that happened

It’s that time of the year again
And I am waiting for the first leaf to shed
I’ve been here for quite a while now
But I’m still willing to wait longer just to see a wow
It will be impossible if fall won’t happen
Coz my seasons will never be complete without one of them
